この曲は、前半で歌った歌詞を後半で英語で歌っていますので、英語圏のみなさんにも伝わりやすい曲になっています。この曲は、私の大好きな坂本九さんの「上を向いて歩こう」に因んでタイトルを作り、そのタイトルを元に詞を書きました。ですので、坂本九さんの「上を向いて歩こう」の英語タイトルが「SUKIYAKI 」であるように、この曲の英語タイトルも、曲の詞とタイトルの関連性は無く、私の好きな食べ物の名前を付けています（笑）
